The Bird and the Beast

So today is my third day trying out the new world event; The Bird and the Beast, and seeing as it is so afk, I have enough time to write a whole blog post whilst I collect my Fealty. The event isn't as good as I was hoping, but the Construction exp is ok, and I want all of the rewards. I joined Armadyl at the start of the event, but I'll probably join Bandos in a bit to get those rewards too.

My levels have been creeping up slowly, and I managed to get 80 Strength yesterday, so I am getting closer to the requirements for the quest point cape. I've put a lot of effort into agility recently, using my festive aura everyday, and should get 77 today, which I never thought would happen!

This is all the world event seems to be at the moment...

Another 99!

Its just over one month since I got 99 Divination, and I decided a few days ago I wanted to trim my Skillcape. I decided to carry on with Firemaking (which I had been training since just before Divination came out), and after completing the quest 'All Fired Up', and earning both the flame gloves and ring of fire, I bought enough Yew logs, and got to training.
Firemaking is amazing xp compared to Divination, and on an average day, I managed around 800k - one million xp, so it has only taken a week or so, compared to the two months I spent on Divination.
I had to switch to magics towards the end so I could get 99 in time, but I think the 500k was well wasted.

The cape is really ugly I think, but I just wanted it so I could have a trimmed Divination cape!

Here is 99;

70 Milestone!

Finally I got Ranged to 70 today, and I've got my 70 milestone cape;

Sadly though, the cape is ugly, and I'm never going to wear it.

Thursday, 14 November 2013

You would have though with just three ranged levels to go until the milestone 70 cape, that I could have been bothered to do it. After 5 days, I've gotten just 1 range level, and cannot get the energy to get to 70, never mind 75 for the Quest Point Cape.
I have finally got to total level 2000 though, and am thinking of going for my second 99, in Fletching, before the new year, seeing as its quick and easy to train.
I really like the D&D tracker from this weeks update, and the xp from all of the new ones I've tried is great, I'm getting over 500k xp/day, without huge amounts of grinding.
Herblore is up to 86 today, only 4 levels until I can do that ports story-line, so I'm pretty glad about warbands

I'm a bit forgetful...

Forgotten to post for a while, but I've still been playing quite a bit, and I'm well on the way to my 70 milestone cape, with just 7 levels to go (in agility, runecrafting and range). I've been loving training slayer for the past week or so, and I've managed to level that up to 71, but I've taken a break to get my last few skills to 70.
I've also trained magic and attack up recently, and I'm really glad, because I can now use my Godsword and Armadyl battlestaff.
Finally I've been doing ports a lot, checking back on every day, and I have already unlocked the third zone, out of the six, and have done scroll missions, which mean I can now create the Tetsu body as soon as I get some plate. Herblore is leveling really quickly with Warbands, and so I hope I'll have 90 in that, and of course in Smithing as well, to create the all of the Tetsu Armour when I can collect plate.

I haven't taken a screenshot today, but I am training Runecrafting at the moment, and no-one wants to see a picture of that...

Ports time!

Managed to get 90 Prayer to start Ports today (actually managed 91), and I am thinking of getting 92 and the a few quests so I can use Soul Split. I've spent tons and I've used all my bonus xp, but I just couldn't wait to start ports.

Might get 92 tomorrow, I have the money for it, but for now I'm just going to enjoy ports.

Happy about this!...

Lots of Prayer

So yesterday, I spent 6 million on prayer to get it from 62-70, and I still though that was quite a lot.
Today I spent 76 million on the bones for 70-90 prayer, because I just could not stop thinking about doing ports. It was probably ridiculously wasteful to spend so much, but I am up to 83 prayer now, and that looks quite good, so will probably finish training tomorrow. Managed a total of 2 million prayer xp today, so pretty happy about that!
Here's the picture for 83 prayer;

I'm so glad for open gilded altars, haven't spent a penny on marrentil or an altar, so it isn't as expensive as it could be...

70, 70, 70 aaaand 70...

I've been meaning to get the 70 milestone cape for a while, and with 9 skills left to go, I decided to start today to boost them all quickly. I quickly power-trained Summoning up (only one level), using all but three of my gold charms, then spent 6 million on Dragon Bones (eight levels) and trained that up, spent two entire hours training Agility (nearly died), but only managed to get that to 68.
I'm enjoying Slayer at the moment, and got 70 Constitution (should still be called Hitpoints), and finally Fish flingered my way to 70 Fishing!
Managed to get twenty levels today, which I was quite happy about, and my Quest Point cape isn't looking too unrealistic now...

I forgot to get pictures of all my 70's, but I'm sure you can imagine...

Fish Flingers

I ended my weekend yesterday with another new D&d, this time Fish Flingers, which I think is the first time I have trained Fishing and enjoyed playing at the same time...
I started at just level 63, and by today have gotten it up to 68, but am hoping to reach 70 (and another Quest point cape requirement ticked off), by tomorrow. Fish Flingers is surprisingly enjoyable, and I've managed to earn the hat and the body of the Fishing outfit.
I've also had some fun doing slayer, and made about 300k from one Warped tortoise task, which I was pretty pleased with.
I went to level agility, but was killed by a PK'er before surefooted ran out, so didn't get much xp. I finally ended the day with the extreme, edge-of-the-seat fun, which is... Runespan.

This is how i ended my day...

What do i do now...?

After spending the past two months almost completely focused on Divination, I felt a bit lost today, with no more Divination to do. Warbands was successful in the morning, and I got a Farming and Herblore level from it. I capped at my citadel, and then decided to do my Concentrated Gold daily. I've never been to the Living rock caverns, and I wasn't expecting to like it much, but the xp from it was great and I got talking to a guy there who i spent  a while training with. After getting 81 mining, I trained two levels of thieving (71 now), and started on the huge stack of lobsters that have been sitting in my bank for ages.

All in all, today was a bit of an odd day, but I think I'll get back into the swing of things, because I've got a week off college, which I'm chuffed about!

99 Divination!

99 Divination!

It feels strange starting a Completionist cape blog with a post on 99 Divination, but it's my first 99 ever, and I thought it would be a good way to start things off. I have been training Divination pretty much non-stop except for a week or so I spent at the Battle of Lumbridge to get Warpriest armour, and of course my favourite D&D; Warbands! I've wanted a 99 in any skill for ages, and when Divination was released, I just thought why not 99 that. I'm not going to lie, some of the training has been boring, but I am so glad I've finally done it.

I am at about 42 million xp, so about 10% of the total for the 2595, and I think my next goal is going to be 90 Thieving (68 at the moment), because I really want to start Ports, and I want Superior Tetsu by the time I can use it. I was also training Firemaking a lot just before Divination was released, and managed to get it to 88, so I will probably finish off the thousands of maples in my bank soon, and earn the trim for my Divination cape.

For now though, here's me getting 99 Divination;

And here's my first ever skillcape!
